Burkholder’s HVAC Gives Back to Lehigh County Meals on Wheels

Burkholder’s Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. donated $1,965 to Meals-on-Wheels of Lehigh County. The donation will provide 465 meals for low-income Lehigh County residents who cannot afford the full cost of a meal.
Each quarter Burkholder’s HVAC holds a “Burks Gives Back” promotion that supports local charities. During this promotion, Burkholder’s HVAC agreed to donate one meal to Meals-on-Wheels for every new maintenance agreement signed as well as donate one meal for every existing maintenance customer who completed a review about Burkholder’s HVAC online. At the end of the 2 ½ month promotion period, they received 125 reviews and/or new maintenance contract customers. Also, in the spirit of the upcoming holiday season, Burkholder’s donated an additional 125 meals for local residents to enjoy this Thanksgiving.
Meals-on-Wheels is a non-profit organization that delivers nutritious meals every weekday to 445 residents throughout Lehigh County. 746 individual and group volunteers deliver over 165,000 meals per year. The organization also provides other services such as grocery shopping, well-being checks, and social visits.
