The goal of this project was installing the proper equipment to maintain critical tolerances for humidity and temperature control for a surgical facility. The project consisted of a Camus Gas Fired Boiler connected to VAV Boxes with Hot Water heating Coils and duct mounted Hot Water heating Coils. A McQuay 30-ton rooftop packaged air-handling unit with remote condenser was utilized for space conditioning. An Innovent 30-ton Dehumidification Rooftop Unit for 100% Ventilation Air and Nortec Steam Humidifier were used to achieve the proper moisture levels required. There was approximately 1,020 ft. of brazed copper pipe, 625 ft. of black steel threaded pipe and 10,000 lbs. of fabricated sheet metal used for this project.
