Emmaus Public Library – Rooftop Unit Replacement

Burkholder’s Heating & Air Conditioning was contracted by the Emmaus Public Library to complete a rooftop unit replacement and equipment removal as part of a mechanical system upgrade.

The project scope involved removing the existing 3-ton packaged heat pump unit, originally installed in 1997, and replacing it with a new high-efficiency 3-ton packaged heat pump system. The team also replaced a cracked drain pan to ensure proper condensate management and prevent future water damage.

The new system delivers enhanced energy efficiency, improved climate control, and reduced maintenance requirements, supporting the library’s long-term comfort and operational reliability.
