Burkholder’s HVAC designed and installed the HVAC for OraSure Technologies Wet/Dry Clean rooms.

The system at OraSure was designed and installed to maintain specific design conditions.

The Dry Lab Consisted of a Custom Munters Dehumidification unit to maintain 25 Air changes per hour, 68-degree temperature with 15% relative humidity, and cascading HEPA filters.

The Wet Lab Consisted of McQuay Air Handling unit with a humidifier to maintain 25 Air changes per hour, 68-degree temperature with 50% relative humidity, and cascading HEPA filters.
